Dear Parents/Guardians and Incoming Freshmen:
First of all, we would like to welcome you to Cloquet Senior High School. We are very excited about the upcoming year and are looking forward to working with you and your family. We know this can be a time filled with many emotions from excitement and anticipation to nervousness and questions. In order to help make this year a smooth and comfortable transition, we have scheduled a Freshmen Orientation for all incoming grade 9 students on THURSDAY, August 29, 2024.
Students will learn how to view their schedules and will be given a tour of our building in addition to providing an excellent opportunity to meet other students and school staff. We hope orientation will ease their transition and provide them with answers about life at the high school. We are determined to do all that we can to ensure success among our students.
The following is an agenda for the orientation:
Based on your students homeroom, they can be dropped off at the main doors, CHS Door 1, at the time below.
Homeroom teachers can be found on your students schedule in Student Portal
Students will receive a 120 minute tour through the High School led by junior/senior Link Crew leaders
Students will exit and be picked up by Door 10
Students are responsible for their own transportation to this event
This is an event for students only
Chromebooks will be distributed in homeroom on the first day of school.
